They work well when they don't twist and break behind the wall.

It took seven anchors to create three. The pins on the metal piece that goes into the wall should be longer and sharper. They just won't stick to the back of the drywall, so they twist when you try to tighten them. Then I stopped it from turning with a screwdriver and the plastic broke. When they capture, they work pretty well. If you buy these, expect some of them to be disappointing.

Pros
  • New design with a strap for easier attachment and turning
Cons
  • Available in black only

Used to mount the TV on the wall

I had to use this on one of the four corners to mount the TV on the wall. It went in very easily and was very reliable. I had to give 4 stars because I wanted to use 2 to reinforce the corner but the 2nd broke in the wall trying to turn that screw! This is my first time using this, so mistakes are inevitable. The one that mounts on the wall is very strong and I have 100% confidence that my TV (30 lbs 55 inch) will not fall over.

Pros
  • Quick and easy installation
Cons
  • Security

Did the job. best in Toggle Anchor

I used these to attach a sink pedestal to my bathroom wall. You will need to drill a 1/2 inch hole for the anchor, but this is slightly smaller than the old "molly" style anchors. Since I was drilling a brand new tile I wanted to drill as small a hole as possible and that was it. I had to get longer screws because I had to go through the sink, tile, cement board, and rail, but they were just standard 1/4"-20 screws, so it was easy. One of the 10 anchors was missing a plastic ring. That holdsโ€ฆ

Need guidance!

Please include instructions! I broke three of these (the plastic is very flimsy so it doesn't get in the way) before getting one to work. The problem for me was interpreting how twisted plastic works (it's not a feather type). After the entire plastic/metal piece is in place, the jig must be retracted to allow the curl to catch on the drywall and push the metal away from the plastic rod, forming a T with the rod. Then the shaft is pulled back until the T snaps into place on the other side ofโ€ฆ

Works great with TV mount

I used these anchors on one end of the TV wall mount because I couldn't align both ends with the studs. The instructions provided were clear and all three anchors I used installed easily with no errors. First I attached the end of the fastener to the stud and then the end with three anchors. Once tightened, the end with the anchors felt just as secure as the end drilled into the bolt, and that didn't change when the TV was hung on the bracket. I adjust the angle of the TV almost daily, whetherโ€ฆ
