I recently bought a new machine and of course I wanted new needles. They fit the bill but I was pleasantly surprised that they change the stitching. They eat easily, the needles are sharp. I missed so much with my old needles. I thought it might be a new car. I tried one of these on an old machine and got the best result. I don't regret buying a new car, but maybe I could just buy these needles. I would suggest if your machine isn't working the way you want, buy some needles and try them first,

I don't know what I would do without Singer. Their products are always of high quality and they attest to that. No wonder they take so long! I bought them for just pennies more instead of the vintage because I would have spent a buck or two more for the quality you get. I hate it when I start sewing thicker layers and suddenly the needle breaks. It can damage your car! I have to work with too many layers or break them. Singers are another must for me.
