Helps a lot in my sewing class. The wheel doesn't tear my pattern's tissue paper, and the marker makes clear imprints where I needed to put dots.

I've only used one marker so far, doesn't matter, but I can tell you that the marker will have a pretty short life. I've already used it for two drawings and it was starting to dry out (and yes, I tightly capped after each use). I'll say it works pretty well on the pattern and first layer of fabric, but you really have to work to get it to the second layer of fabric and that's probably why it's already running out. Traces remain after washing, so this is a big plus. I'm a little disappointed…

Not quite a perfect set. When I bought this I couldn't see the wheel very well and wrongly assumed it had gearing. It's not like this. This sounds normal at first glance, but jagged works much better with tracing paper. I don't know why others have problems with the pen, but mine didn't dry out. My guess is that it hasn't really dried up completely but has been declining and should settle to the top.
