I love these speakers I couldn't afford anything expensive but when I heard the Singing Woods T25 passive speakers that's how I am Happy I bought a $40 Pyle amp and these speakers are great little bookshelf speakers. I never expected them to sound so good. They may not be the Bose 901 speakers I had in the late '60s, but their quality and sound amazes me. Thanks rsdno

One speaker arrived broken but after a simple fix they sound great!

speakers arrived, I connected them, but one speaker made no sound! I tried swapping cables, double checking things, changing speakers but nothing worked! I didn't want to return them so I opened the back and found the ground wire had come loose from the solder. Nothing terrible happens. I don't have a soldering kit so I just screwed a bare wire under the stud show and it worked like a charm! The speakers sound amazing and I love their size!

The best return on your money. These little guys have a great sound!

These speakers are ideal for small rooms. I live in a tiny 500 sq ft house (aka mobile home lol) and these kids fill the space and then some others. Just wow! And did I mention how sexy they look, beautiful wood (almost black) that goes so well with my vintage wood grain furniture. These speakers have a few bonuses that most don't have, firstly, free speaker cable, not much but enough, just plug them in and you're good to go. The next little bonus is the presence of a metal wall bracket mounted

Great little speakers!

Let's start with the aesthetics. These little speakers are unobtrusive and still look great. The dark gray plastic case is surrounded by beautiful wooden panels on both sides. There are banana plugs on the back. There are anti-vibration legs on the bottom, which is a big plus. Sound? BIG! I was pleasantly surprised at how good these speakers sound. Bass and treble are well balanced, making the sound deeper and warmer. Don't get me wrong these are not my JBL L series and they are not for a DJ…

Nice pleasing sound, thoughtful design

I needed these after my old amplified speakers died. I have a Yamaha receiver, I plugged them into my main left and right headphones and they sound great. I switched on the old Blader Runner mp4 and couldn't be happier. I really appreciate a well designed and thought out product. The jacks can be connected to either a banana plug or just the supplied speaker cable. Identifying the left and right wires is no problem as the wires are color coded, stripped and tinned on the ends. The bushings…

Not bad for $$

For a set of bookshelf speakers under $60, this is great value. Attach speaker stands -> cute! Beautifully made MDF cabinets -> beautiful! A few things though. The grill covers are acoustically opaque, and when they're on, there's a noticeable reduction in high frequencies. That might be fine, but if they seem bright to you, leave them on. I noticed a slight resonance on some tracks with heavy percussion (accelerated a break that lasted about 24 hours playing the most bass-heavy music I…

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here

May 25th, 2021, I am updating the question on Singing Wood T25 speakers. So many people have said they sound so much better without the grill. Without doubt ! What was singer Wood thinking with all the cell phone flare? I think the speakers look very basic without the grilles and a lot sexier with them. This flash is not some magical 3D sound diffusion engineering project. Why singing wood? I'm still sticking with them because of the near-field dynamics when using a subwoofer. Decent sound for…
