Based on our own experience, this product is not worth purchasing even if it is cheap. We had a really bad time installing the replacement cable and it didn't even last for a week of sports and outdoors activity. The only pro is that it was affordable, but our bike's performance was greatly affected by its poor quality. Save yourself from the inconvenience and disappointment.

Fits my hybrid bike. I replaced the shift/brake combo and wanted new cables. The cables are ok and long enough for them to work. The end caps worked well too. Although I didn't replace the body, I did look at the metal grommets that came with the kit. They are very very soft. I had the grommets from the Shimano brake cable kit and they are much stronger. I don't know how the softness of the tips affects anything but Shimano's tips look like a quality product although they are very fragile which
