Description of Single-phase voltage regulator APC by Schneider Electric Line-R LS1000-RS 1000 VA 500 W

The APC LS1000-RS voltage regulator from reliable computer peripherals manufacturer APC is characterized by high performance and quiet operation, so it is optimally suited for installation even in the bedroom. The model normalizes the mains voltage in the range from 184 to 284 V, and if the indicators are exceeded, the device automatically turns off. On the back of the case there are three sockets designed to connect laptops, computers, TVs, refrigerators, the total power of which is not more than 1000 V * A. LED indicators inform about the connection to the network and are activated if the allowed values change. The stabilizer also provides protection against impulse noise, while the response time is 6 ms

I've never seen worse! Horrible purchase.

In conjunction with this stabilizer, the Baxi boiler board lived for 3 months. Constant errors. Entrance 220-225 on average. Power surges 205-284 when observed for a minute. There can be no talk of any spread of 10%. Suitable maximum for the view when installing the boiler. I don't recommend taking

It's impossible to use it, don't waste your money.

From the first day after a power failure, it does not return to operating mode. One refrigerator is connected (at the peak of 170W from the passport). That is, in the morning to see a warm refrigerator is easy.

We don’t have any voltage drops, I took it for insurance. When on-off, it makes clicks and changes the color of the indication, it probably works. There is an unbearable chemical smell from the packaging, I have been weathering it for 2 weeks now, the smell has diminished, but has not disappeared.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Turned on and forgot. I bought for the stable operation of the UPS supplying a mini server room. In the country, the voltage regularly jumps up to 260V. When the voltage is above 250, the UPS goes into protection and switches to battery. With this stabilizer, the problem disappeared. I did not feel any super stink, as many write. The most common plastic, the UPS of this company is made from exactly the same. Great item for your money!

Pros
  • Cost, reliability.

Pros below: The short cord was a plus for me. The stabilizer is compact, silent and looks nice. Some cons: Unfortunately, all week when I used the stabilizer, it gave off an unpleasant smell of plastic. Finally returned the product. Perhaps unlucky with this particular instance.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

To avoid the smell of plastic, do not load the stabilizer more than half of the declared maximum power. Because usually all that you have on hand is passport nominal consumption without peak values. And when the entire load starts to consume at once, this leads to overheating of the device (in addition, the maximum provided power drops even more, i. E. instead of 500W there will be 450 . 475W) and the smell of plastic. Therefore, remember - take all your rated powers and multiply by 1.5…

Pros
  • - For the operation of a class A refrigerator is enough. There is definitely stabilization, suitable for inert systems (refrigerators, boilers, etc.) - No noise in normal mode. When jumping, it clicks noticeably. - There are holes on the back for wall mounting both vertically and horizontally. - Not a very long wire, which, in principle, is rather good, because if you put the device next to the outlet, then you don’t have to think where to put it and such a short wire can be easily rolled up without problems (and this will not affect the operation of the device, it is not recommended to roll multi-meter wires for a minute). But it’s bad that it’s less than a meter and if the sockets are high (80 . 90 cm from the floor), then the wire is not enough to put the stabilizer on the floor.
Cons
  • - A template included for mounting holes on the wall would be handy to keep the number of your tools to a minimum, but these are Wishlist.

Normal quality, you can use it.

Installed to the TV and set-top box in the bedroom. The TV is near the front door, and when you walk by, you catch the unpleasant smell of burnt plastic. It does not affect performance, but it causes inconvenience in operation. That's the only reason "Build quality" put 3.
