Just bought my 3rd Sistema 13.7 cup (3.25 liter) for flour storage. My way of easily getting 5 pounds of flour in a container is to store the flour in a bag. If you buy in bulk, it's less useful. As others have pointed out, in this case you'll need to press the flour down to pick up more.- Take the *unopened* bag of flour and set it aside. - Place the bag in the container. - Open the bag.
