I like this die. I use it in winter and mostly at Christmas. You need to make two cuts, one in the blue paper and one in the velum. Just a nice cut.

I am a long time handyman and have been using my Sizzix Big Shot for about two years. I've used other similar die-cutting and embossing folder combinations with no problems, but this one is a bit more complicated. You must line up the holes perfectly or the embossing will fail. To do this, I mark my paper, the stamp itself, and the embossing folder so I know which hole goes in the correct slot of the embossing folder. I've never had that with any other kit. This also takes some getting used to.

Cutout and embossing folder do NOT match properly. This is the first TH product that doesn't work for me. I tried doing what the other reviewer suggested and ticked all three: stamp, folder and clip, that helped a bit, but the result is still very far from the clean, perfect image I had had expected.
