It keeps your skateboard off the ground and out of the way. As long as it's strong. It's useful for my small apartment so I don't trip over it and fall over when I bend over something. This stand was initially difficult to assemble. Then I realized I was trying to connect it back-to-front or inside-out. Don't make the same mistake! Once I got it right it connected perfectly.

Bought for my husband as a Christmas present. He has always loved skating. I bought him a new board for Christmas and wished he could keep it instead of leaving it on the garage floor. The skateboard stand is perfect! I'm by no means a skateboarder but as a photographer I made a custom skateboard as a promo, I was looking for a stand to display it in my home office so it doesn't go anywhere and leaning it against the wall, this stand was better than ideal (see photo). The stand was very easy to assemble and within minutes my board was beautifully displayed in the office. Recommend this stand to any skateboarder who wants to show off their board when not in use.

Bought because I needed a good place to store my board, besides being able to lean against a wall or furniture and I also like my patio so I wanted it to be visible. Very light but holds my entire board without tipping over if you place the board correctly (not difficult). Literally a piece of junk! The bottom folds down and around and should then be hooked on the side. It won't because it won't align properly. I have a few decks that I just wanted to display on a shelf instead of drilling through the wall. For a horizontal display, this is fantastic. However, the vertical installation of the board is not so good. Without trucks and extra weight, the display gets too wet for a deck.
