Not what I was hoping for

I bought these for my little girls aged 2 and 4 but when they stand on skates (Bauer Angel hockey skates) the blade of the skate does this does not touch the ice. I like this idea, but I think we'll roll a chair on ice again. Probably good for big skates.

Pros
  • Light and easy to put on
Cons
  • Negative impression

save your money - Team sport

It was a great concept but the plastic was cheap and difficult to disassemble/assemble, didn't fit on the skate because there wasn't enough room for the block. My 4 year old seemed to hit them more often and my 7 year old had a click and broke. I think the old metal folding chair is still the best accessory to learn to skate. :)

Pros
  • Skates not included.
Cons
  • Hard to say

Save money playing hockey

It's hard to overstate what a waste of money this is. I bought 2 - one for my 2 year old and one for my 4 year old. It was difficult to take them apart to put the skates on because the plastic is so cheap. I could barely get her to deal with a 4 year old's skates. Also, they don't touch the ice, so it's hard to understand how they help a beginner stabilize. If the child staggers, this does not prevent him from falling. It's a shame I spent so much money on it.

Pros
  • Reliable and durable
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
