I've had compliments on these shoes which is weird

Skechers is all I've worn to work for a few years and this is the first pair I've gotten compliments on. I find this odd as I buy for comfort and durability rather than looks. But hey, no complaints!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good shoes at a good price

Skechers is one of the few companies that offers plus size shoes and I need that for my short and wide feet. I use them for running, I love the way they look and more importantly I love the way they feel on my feet.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some problems

Excellent pair of shoes

I really like these shoes. I bought 3 pairs of sketchers and these are my favorites. So if you are considering these shoes, buy them. One thing though, I bought a half size larger than what I wear and they fit and feel like they were made for me. And I received them early. Thank you guys.

  • Everything is fine!

Thumbs upπŸ‘ for men

I liked that these shoes break in after about 2-3 days of wearing. You are cozy. You look great! The tread pattern doesn't trap much dirt that can be drawn into the house. The only downside I can fault is that the laces can be around 6-8 inches longer. That would make them easier to tie because the loops I make are too small to tie. It could also be the width of my foot. All in all I would buy a second pair without hesitation.

Very comfortable, makes it easier to walk on uneven terrain.

I have never bought a trail running shoe. I tried shape ups but they made me fall backwards. Not only are they comfortable (like all Skechers with memory foam), but they also make walking a lot easier. I do a delivery job and the curves in the front and back on these shoes allow you to move quickly and smoothly over different types of terrain. They also give me pretty good traction. I've only worn Skechers for many years, but I think I'll stick with that style now (instead of running, walking…

Poor long term comfort, build quality

When I first put it on it was very comfortable but didn't last long. After half an hour of wearing my toes started to get numb due to the shape of the insole and I noticed issues with the construction of the shoe. The padding was uneven, there were soft spots in several places (every shoe is different). The spots look normal, but are noticeably softer and when worn, it feels like there is a hole in the insole at this point. For some reason the right boot didn't tighten well, and on one tongue…

Footbed designed by Harvard educated morons!

Shoes feel a bit stiff but they are outdoor shoes and feel solid. In terms of comfort, this shoe lacks. The insole is like a cushion in the middle and there is a rubber groove about 3/16 inch around the perimeter of the insole so your toes hang off the edge into the groove. I can't believe the stupidity of this design. "I'm sure these Harvard-educated assholes are proud of their achievements. Maybe they thought you could get your toes on the inside of the shoe. But it's uncomfortable. Also, the

Wide but stable, great tread, fits my arthritis "ankle "

I'm having a terrible time with shoes. I had an issue with what I thought was high arches, but the podiatrist said it was actually arthritis happening to my feet. In any case, most shoes cause severe pain in the upper part of the foot, in the "toe joints", especially in the big toe. I usually wear knitted shoes. But I think due to the extra width I don't feel any pain with this pair. I also haven't found a pair of woven jerseys that lasted more than a few months of tread. All-Birds, Sketchers -
