Dead End - Grinder I've Always Wanted

I am picky when it comes to kitchen products and have used several salt grinders over the years, plastic, alum/glass, one hand punch model etc. Have never been happy with the design and the functionality, and one of them broke in less than a year. It feels good in the hand and is heavy, the combination of cast iron and wood has a nice aesthetic and the salt dosing mechanism is excellent. A few twists and you've got a big and well-distributed salt shower that's quiet and easy to refill compared…

Pros
  • Salt Grinders
Cons
  • Functionality

Powerful, functional and visually appealing.

Heavy. Significant. Quickly grinds obscene amounts of salt. I will be contacting skeppshult to inquire about a replacement plug should this fail over time. This is the only weird part. Instead I would prefer something with screws. As long as you don't use wet salts, I don't see that as a problem. I'm just concerned about long term durability. It seems to be a meat grinder for life. Take it.

Pros
  • Salt and Pepper
Cons
  • No Capacity

The best mills!

We got these coffee grinders as a Christmas present. They're the best I've ever seen. The quality is haptic and visually noticeable. I realized that every time I used them (and that's DAILY) I was thinking of the loved ones they gave us. Now I get them for the very special people I love the most. And I hope they think of us when they use them. They are incomparable and timeless. Photos only tell half the story. Feel it in your hand and YOU will see. You are special. Share them with special…

Pros
  • Kitchen and dining room
Cons
  • Big and chunky
