I ride a road bike so it doesn't have fender holes on the seatstays and chainstays. They have a strong clamping mechanism and easily help me to overcome snow and thunderstorms.

VERY heavy compared to the old model. The adjustable straps attached to the fork and seatstays are almost impossible to move up and down. Over-engineered and a real pain to use.

Works well so far. It rained lightly yesterday and the wings kept my feet and freedom mostly dry. The only downside to them is that they aren't full length so all the road gravel will still fly up and over the handlebars or to the back of your legs/cranks/chain. It's not a big deal as I clean my bike after every wet ride, but it would be nice if they could find a way to protect those areas a bit.

Update 8/2021: I have benefited a lot from them and they are really great. They are easy to put on and take off so I can just put them on when they get wet. Do you understand. I have yet to use them but I can say they will be great. The assembly and adjustment is much better than planetary vanes in a similar price range. I have owned planetary bikes for many years and have ridden many miles BUT the adjustments have been useless. The SKS feel more stable and, as mentioned, are much easier to set

moving slightly. The front end got stuck under the down tube causing my handlebars to get stuck once - easy to fix but exciting at the moment. When I hit a big bump, the rear tire dived between my rear brake and my tire, causing the rear tire to slide completely; Also drilled a hole in the fender. SKS was very responsive and I changed it to prevent this from happening in the future. I have other SKS fenders and am generally happy with them, but keep an eye on the adjustment.

These are the best fenders for bikes without mounts. I ride a Specialized Langster and last winter I used Planet Bike SpeedEZ Road Fenders which I threw away at the end of the winter. These SKS fit perfectly, are solid and don't ring. Please note that these are not "full" fenders, they are full road water protection. I doubt full wings are required after use.
