Bought this product as a gift

I bought this SkyCaddie as a gift for my husband but we play golf together and I use it too. This gave me confidence in my swing because I know the exact distance. It was a bit difficult to use at first, but now that I'm sure I can play at least 15 years earlier in most clubs. I think my husband will agree. He's also a better golfer. The product arrived on time in excellent condition.

Sky Caddy SG5: sporty and portable GPS

I am pleased to report that the Sky Caddy SG5 works perfectly right out of the box. Downloading is very easy. For players like me who belong to county golf associations who play many local golf courses, I would recommend that future models support more than ten golf courses simultaneously on the device. Twenty or twenty-five would be a good number. Memory is cheap now, so there shouldn't be a technical reason for the old ten-speed limit.

Feedback on SkyCaddie SG5 purchase.

This item was advertised as used and was 15 or 20 times. I was delighted when it arrived and there wasn't a scratch on it. It doesn't appear to have been programmed for courses, although it could have been cleaned. All in all, I am more than satisfied with this purchase and this seller. The product was sent to me much quicker than stated and I will check this seller out in the future.

Beginners with GPS best in sports and handheld GPS

It was easy to set up and I loaded all my golf courses that I play at during the initial setup. I had trouble the second time because I must have pressed a button that only gave me the distance to the green, not the whole hole. I am still working on it. I liked the service from Revain and the supplier who supplied it. Excellent service from both companies and it arrived on the day scheduled and was delivered to the door. Many Thanks.

Works as advertised

When I received the SG5 I charged it straight away and played the next day. The distances were very accurate. Confirmed by my laser and truck GPS. This certainly came in handy in places where a laser wouldn't be present, e.g. B. if there was no straight line from the spot to the pin. I've played about 6 times and haven't experienced any problems. I just found out before my last few walks that I can use it on most training pitches! Flag spacing was accurate, and this made it easy to switch…

Liked with SG5 for Sport and Portable GPS

I bought this to replace a broken SG4 that was hit by a golf cart. It is much better and very convenient to use. Its features are all anyone really needs on the field. It picks up the signal very quickly no matter fog or lots of trees or obstacles blocking the sky. The yard it gives is pretty accurate and it also gives you waypoints/problems on the green. You can download 20 courses at a time and if you want, the program can save the score for you. It uses an old USB connector for charging and…

SG5 Skycaddy on Sports & Handheld GPS

I just bought an SG5 Skycaddy after owning an SG4 and I love this GPS colour. It's especially handy on fields I've never played on, and that's for sure. I use it most when approaching a hazard and it helps me decide if I can negotiate an obstacle or just stop. That saves 4-5 strokes per game in my opinion. Accessories (car charger, mount, etc.) can be expensive, but you can get great deals online. You must purchase a minimum $29.95 annual subscription that only offers courses for your state…

SkyGolf has been busy

I just bought the SG5 as an upgrade to the SG4. I was considering switching to Garmin G5 until I looked at their course listing. G5 didn't have several courses that I attend regularly. The SG5 is much more responsive and picks up satellites faster than the SG4. I've found SkyGolf to be very busy releasing updates to the CaddySync software and SkyCaddie device, some of which are still in beta. Just recently they added more options to the result tracking feature. Now when you enter your score for
