Enhance Vehicle Control with the Skyjacker 7100 Steering Stabilizer Single Kit Review

Easy installation, less than an hour. My 1974 Jeep CJ5 has manual steering (no power steering) so the wheels moved straight down the road. They still wobble a bit but that stabilizer helped with steering over bumps etc.

My jeep had too many toes so my wobble went away after I fixed that and replaced the out of round rim. I then added this stabilizer bar for better wheel feel. When you transition from payment to mud or hit a pothole, the wheel stays handier.

Arrived today. The box was obviously opened at some point. The stabilizer was painted white and had no Skyjacker logo at all. Paint had come off one end of the screw connections as if someone had started installing them. Instructions are not included. Judging by the photo it looks like all the parts are there so I'll try to install them. Update: Not all parts were included. There were no 3/8 inch fine thread nuts for the ends of the stabilizer bar.

Probably one of the best buys for my '94 Jeep YJ. I have a 6" lift, new steering with 33" tires and running 1 1/2 wheel spacers and this stabilizer bar combined with the same stock replacement (meaning I have 2 of them on the car) does it Steering management REALLY tighter. more traction and lift when I'm cruising down the street. Just make sure you're using the correct U-bolt for the correct size bar when installing. If you tighten the nut over the threads on the U-bolt, you cannot remove it…

Yes unit will fit as described. Except that the shock absorber housing is directly in front of the bottom of the differential. Now this will be the bottom part of the jeep! isn't cool I rotated the axle brace on the other side of the spring to the driver's side and the free play seems fine as it lifts the block off the axle. I have to keep an eye on that. You may need to weld a special bracket if that doesn't work. The Jeep defiantly drives better (but any new anti-roll bar would do.) Owners of
