Someone else left feedback that the part number was.

Someone else left feedback that the part number is incorrect. My box had the correct part number for my ride, but the damper was part number H7073S. I think the confusion is that the body is H7073, but changing the top ring bushing to a rod with two mounting holes makes it the correct part. Haven't installed yet and at this price point I don't have high expectations. Should work fine with my modified B leaf spring and 4" tapered block.

Pros
  • Power Transmission Products
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I was looking for a better ride than OEM shocks with 100,000 miles on them. I assumed these would fit the bill. They fit, but that's it. They certainly made for a smooth ride that's a bit reminiscent of riding a guinea pig. Do you remember the TV series "Flipper"? I towed my truck into the garage and the next morning it was still bouncing. I wasโ€ฆ
