Works pretty well - cycling

Use for hiking. It's comfortable enough to wear. I complain that there isn't enough room inside to easily fit a bladder inside. The bag is bursting at the seams and zips, it has a full water tank and nothing more. I was expecting that the camelbak water bladder and camelbak backpack sold together would be a better match.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • -

Better than a backpack, better than a backpack. This lightweight, hip-hugging backpack has everything you need for a good mountain bike ride and doesn't move while you ride or jump. It's smaller but the way it feels and adapts to the modern human body is a backpacking revolution and even better for an action pack. Worth the extra money, you will feel the difference.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Useless functions

absolutely the best hydration pack

Camelbak has finally reached near perfection. Ultra light, holds 3 liters of water, low in the center of gravity. The waistbelt is easy to attach and detach - something lacking in at least a dozen other brands of hydration packs I've had over the decades. One thing needed: an extra open mesh stretch coat pocket at waist. return. For someone like me who needs 3 liters of water there is very little storage space - not even a strap to tie a coat.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good but not great

After a few others, this is my favorite mountain bike backpack.

I've tried several other brands that I like but they didn't fit the mountain bike. The fanny packs got stuck in the seat and never felt right. Backpacks lifted and extra weight. This backpack keeps the weight down; It holds 3 liters with a nice tube and spout. It has other pockets and it has all my gear. I really like the tool box. It was like a bonus. I live in a 100+ f weather climate so I usually drink the entire 3 liters chilled on one trip. The back wasn't too hot. It has air channels and…

Looks funny but is the best OPTION

I almost bought this thinking it would be uncomfortable. I figured a vest or fanny pack would make access easier. I immediately ordered several vests, hip bags and backpacks. This pack was the biggest option and I was surprised I kept it. The weight is low and shoulder-free. The same applies if you fill it with 3L or just 1L. The best part is the two pockmark-like "wings" on the sides. You can easily access things without removing your backpack. IF you position the zippers of the large pockets…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Manufacturing defect

I must say right away that I have not worn this backpack while riding, although I have filled the tank and fixed it I think it will be ok. - Manufacturing defect: one of the shoulder straps was placed on the wrong side of the hip belt. Very poor quality control. If it wasn't for the design and the fun to drive I would have sent it back, the Osprey has a much better quality feel. Aside from returning it, the only way to fix this was to cut off the velcro mount and thread the buckle the opposite…

Great for running. It's like they pulled the design out of my head!

Haven't fully tested it yet, but so far so good! As a long-distance runner who sweats A LOT (more than anyone I know), I've used the Camelbak FlashFlo (belt pack, 50-ounce reservoir) for a while (14 years? more?) for training runs up to about 13 miles. Also, I've either timed my runs by having a place to stop and refill (sometimes at home) or used a backpack-style Camelbak (2 or 3 liters). When running with a backpack, I thought about how it should be better for running. A good waist belt is…

My new favorite: Sports

I left backpacks in the dust a long time ago. They'll make you sweat, bang against your helmet on steep terrain, and hurt your back on long rides, especially with a traditional reservoir sitting between your shoulder blades. I switched to fanny packs that fit water bottles and decidedly preferred them as I vowed never to use a backpack again. However, for REALLY long trips, a bum bag just wasn't good enough. Not enough water supplies, not enough food supplies. I saw the Camelbak Skyline LR 10…
