Easy to use and non-slip bamboo base prevents it from moving, which is great.

Excellent sharpening tool. I have seen many sharpening stones sold for a lot more money with the same concept of what they are used for. I use my knife a lot in the military and it's benchmade so keeping it in good condition is very important to me. Easy to use and I love the non-slip bamboo base that keeps the stone in place during use, which is very important when sharpening knives. I am very happy that I received this stone.

GREAT PRODUCT for sharpeners

This is an amazing knife sharpener. Excellent quality, works great. It's also very beautiful and very well thought out. I needed a good sharpener to maintain my much used and always in the best condition knives and I decided to give it a try. No regret. It was packaged very well, in perfect condition, the bamboo base is great and very useful, as is the corner guide. The sharpener works perfectly. I'm a total newbie but it worked really well for me.

It took me some time to get used to the whetstone. Eventually I went and found a few YouTube videos on the correct approach. (It's amazing how many different people have different "right" approaches, but I found one that made sense to me.
