The bottom topper was practically useless.

This duvet is very uncomfortable. My back started hurting almost immediately after laying on it. feathers are lumpy; Most of them seem to stick together all the time. I tried sliding and kneading the feathers around each square to loosen the feathers but nothing worked. The bottom topper was practically useless.

Pros
  • Great for me

Disappointment with the duvet cover

The workmanship of this duvet cover is excellent as is the quality of the cotton. Unfortunately, mine just isn't full enough, so while it gets fluffy in the middle of the night, it flattens out a little and is uncomfortable. I really wanted the cloud sleeping effect but it wasn't there and I'm of average height and weight so those weren't factors affecting it. Basically, it just needs to be filled with lots of feathers. I had 3 duvets, my first was from Garnet Hill 12 years ago and it was…

Upgrade Your Air Mattress Bed

We wanted to buy a new mattress. But becoming more comfortable as a 20-year-old costs thousands of dollars. Ours was still better than 80% of those in the mattress store. However, we have stayed in various hotels and guesthouses with more comfortable beds than ours. At least two of them used feather toppers. It was one of the deepest duvets, and partitions were necessary. I also appreciate the down top layer versus the feather bottom layer. We were not disappointed with this choice. It added…

You get something like what it should be

Neither the most supportive nor the most ineffective mattress topper. Have realistic expectations about what you are getting for the money and you will not leave dissatisfied. For $200 you get what you need; a down pillow, which is firmer than a comforter but less firm than a pillow. You drown, but it swells around you. No, it won't stay plump forever. Yes, from time to time you have to manually re-flash. If you're expecting something more, it's probably time to reassess your position in life…

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • It's hard to say

We bought an organic latex mattress - needless to say - it was firm and a bit uncomfortable. We fiddled with it because we paid a lot for it, and then I went on a business trip and slept on a feather bed - and it was really nice. I thought hmm maybe I could make our existing hard bed. better. I did a lot of research, didn't want to spend thousands - otherwise I'd just buy a new mattress - I thought the price was reasonable so I hoped it would be just as comfortable. When it arrived I have to…

They've changed the way they're made/So I'm changing my rating

New review Looking for a 75 inch duvet that is actually 75 inches tall. Keep searching. Now they make their double beds 72 inches long. But keep promoting it as a 75." Nice comforter nonetheless. Just annoyingly too short now. First review: I noticed that all of the reviewers wrote their reviews when their comforters were new. So here's a review from someone (physically small) who purchased this item over a year ago Yes it is fluffy and supportive at first but despite shaking it every morning…

Pros
  • Handy item

  • So far so good
