I may not know how to use this properly, but when I tried to use it, it made the biggest mess. The goods came quickly, but I do not recommend it to anyone.

Extremely cheap workmanship. The rod connecting the two ends is very thin and was broken out of the box. I'm not asking for a replacement as I can definitely see that it doesn't last very long with use.

Received on time and was very satisfied. The reason for the three stars is that I have arthritis in my hands and wasn't able or strong enough to use the right to cut the melon. So I think the problem is not with the slicer but with who is holding it. I think when you are young and strong it will do exactly what it was made to do. I only wish I could do the same.

Slice Right Melon does not work well with round watermelons, which are the most popular sizes. The cutter cuts straight slices in one direction, but when used to cut cross slices into smaller pieces, it turns the watermelon into a pulp. I love watermelon so I've tried it a few times with unsatisfactory results. A proper cut may work best with a long watermelon, but not well with rounded melons, especially when they are very ripe.

I love watermelons and it's easier to cut the same pieces with it than with a normal knife. However, I think the small metal rod at the ends of the two blades should be something more like stainless steel cutting wire. The bar can make slicing difficult when the melon isn't fully ripe and makes slicing melons with denser fruits like honeydew melon messy. I think the reason it's a stick and not wire is to keep the blades a constant distance apart to get even slices of melon. That's why I only…
