I would like to provide feedback on how I have used this item. However, we washed it before first use and it melted. Yes, we used the top rack in the dishwasher. I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't dishwasher safe. The ad said it was lying. And now I have to go to UPS to return it. So I will limit my loss and hope this helps someone else.

I raise chickens and hard boiled eggs and after buying many egg slicers I feed them to my bird. Aggie from Walmart has had to buy this so far, so it's all good, more solid.
