Description of πŸ”₯ Leathercraft Tools - Glass Slicker Burnisher Tool, Pack of 2 Sizes for Leather Burnishing

Two Different Sizes of Leather Burnishing Slickers: both 0.315in-thick glass plate, one small size for wallets and belts, etc.; 1 big size for large pieces to burnish (S: 3.9in*5.1in and L: 4.7in *7.1in). Smooths Rough Leather Easily: wet the leather and use the glass slicker to iron out the wrinkles and other blemishes in a piece of leather; great for slicking the fleshy side of your leather; works great for preparing your carving/stamping surface; flattening out and solidifying the flesh side of leather. Adequately Rounded and Smoothed Edges: perfect to apply slicker paste /leather finish burnishing gum on the leather; durable and hefty; thick and sturdy. Give the Leather-craft Product a More Professional Look: get rid of the fuzziness on the leather; laying down the fibers on the back of leather; smooth tooling leather when casing and smoothing the grain side; close the top cells of the leather. Multifunctional Glass Plate: leather slicker burnisher; would also function as paperweight; or backing plate when peeling leather.

2 sizes, durable glass, quality edges.

I've seen glass raincoats sold at ridiculously high prices and I've been surprised by them. They are very affordable and work very well. Finishes are good; No sharp edges, decent thickness, feels good in the hand. So while I'm still curious as to what a raincoat that costs 4 times the price looks like, I no longer feel like it needs to be better.

  • Leathercraft

Do a good job, get the job done!

These glass raincoats do the job well. They really help disperse the toconol so very little is needed and there is no waste. I used the small one on the case in the photo. Would like to have 2 sizes. I took one star because I think they should at least be in velvet pouches for storage, but I made a case with two pockets so they don't touch, rip, or scratch. Some stitching and latches still need to be added, but they're secured.

Comfortable to hold and works well on large pieces of leather

I normally use a wood polisher for leather, but decided to try this option to see if I liked it better. I work on many small leather items, about the size of a keychain. I've found that my wood polisher works better for my projects. However, I can see where these glass polishing tools work well as they each cover a large area. Glass polishing tools are fairly thick with smooth, beveled edges. They're also easier to hold because they're bigger than my wooden ones. Generally good quality and…
