Slime 30013 Automotive Accessories Review

Arrived on time. Tire has held air for 3 weeks since installation on a 15 year old lawnmower with dry rotten rear tire sidewalls. Have tried Siime tires in the past, but it just seeped through cracks in the sidewalls.Although they are more expensive than inner tubes which I have used in the past they seem to be of much better quality on a rim I would recommend them to anyone looking to extend the life of an old tyre .

My little handyman came up with tubeless tires. Unfortunately, our dry desert weather dried up and the tires snapped to the point where they could no longer hold air. I ran some tubing through the Revain Prime (damn that's handy), ripped out the valve stems and ripped off the sides. and stick it in the pipes. I pumped up the tires and was able to use my tractor again. That makes me very happy. Did I really need the "slime" tubes? Probably not, but I definitely like this carefree insurance…

The valve is in the middle of the tube which makes installation difficult on most mower discs as the hole in the rim is usually on the side. Using adjustable pliers, I held the valve in place while slowly inflating the tube. I used to fill a tubeless tire with slime and when I tried to fit the tube it stuck to the sides and when inflated the tube didn't adjust spontaneously and after several tries the valve in the rim disappeared. Like most of you who use self-propelled mowers, my mower's tires need constant airing. I saw this mucus tube supplement and thought it would work great.
