Slippery Pete Transfer Transmission Differential Review

I finally used this pump to fill the Mopar manual transmission oil into the manual transmission of our Jeep Wrngler. I used the shorter of the two tubes in a liter bottle. Due to the lack of room to inflate the pen up and down, I simply held the pump in my left hand and pushed the bottle up and down to pour the liquid. Everything went pretty quickly, and the outlet end stayed in place in the filler hole. The end does not have to be inserted as far as it will go, it is enough if the "third hand"

Is this pump running? Yes, that's right. Pumps 90W gear oil from a liter container when you have a lot of free time. The spout that attaches to the threaded port on the gearbox is convenient and that's definitely a plus. Plan on your arm falling off pumping a quart of oil with this thing. Maybe, I don't know, it takes 20 minutes to pump out a liter? So you're lying on the floor pumping and it's not fun. While I'm not sure there's a lighter alternative, this pump is hardly ideal.

I loved the look, feel and design of the Slippery Pete pump and was thrilled when it arrived. However, I was very disappointed that I couldn't use your pump for my ATF gear oil. I'm a "do it yourself" guy and being a beginner mechanic I spent 3 days changing the transmission lines on my F-150. When it came time to fill up my gear, I couldn't use Slippery Pete. This pump was a handy tool for topping up the differential oil in my 2019 Honda CRV 4WD. The small plastic tab/third hand at the end of the fill tube makes it much easier to insert the hose into the diff case. It dispenses like an ounce of liquid with each pump. This model dispenses a little more liquid than the cheaper model and if you're under a car you'll appreciate that little extra improvement and convenience. Pros: The pump works great and appears to be well built with one exception noted below. on quart jugs, which is a problem if you bought a jug containing a gallon of liquid. So I had to find an empty liter jug, fill it from the gallon jug and repeat until I had the required number of liters. 2.
