I bought this kit to ensure I have the correct connector for my Baofeng UV-5RA radio and cellular antenna. The connector works great and I have no signal loss through the connector. I keep the rest of the connectors in my kit in case I decide to buy a better HT in the future.

After poking around between the connectors I realized that the simplest solution would be a mixed set of connectors. That was it. It worked great. Those are good connections. I measured SWR and resistance with a multimeter. These things did not negatively affect any of the actions and allowed me to do everything. Good value for money.

Delivered quickly, packaged properly so the supplier did a good job of providing the connectors here. Although the quality of the product is below average. Poor fit, especially two SMA SO adapters. The SO socket insulator does not fit properly and does not mechanically support the socket at all. The isolator on both SMA SO connectors cannot meet the correct mechanical or RF impedance standard. Sure, things were cheap, but I wouldn't buy them again. Two SMA-PL adapters are sufficient.

SMA jacks require tremendous force to insert. It looks like the spring force on the middle seat is way higher than it should (should). It took me a while to work up the courage to fully mate one of them. I was afraid the center pins would not line up and I would end up damaging the mating connector. Also the dielectric around the SO239 socket is not standard. There is a lot of air with a ring of physical dielectric. I can only hope they corrected this with the center diameter and dielectric…
