It was great while it worked!

My husband had one in a truck, plugged it out of the cigarette lighter. He stopped working and was only in the car for 3 months! We put in a new ending and that seemed to fix it. But only for one day. This device must be checked regularly to ensure that it is working at all times. We lost lunch, eggs and other sandwich items twice due to this issue. BE CAREFUL!

Excellent quality with double electrical functions.

I put this in a small camper van. It appears to be high quality and well made. Being able to use both 12V and 110V is a real plus. Also good for emergencies. I would give it 5 stars but this type of refrigeration system has some limitations compared to a regular fridge. However, this is a problem with the nature of the cooling system, not the product itself.

The item does not last in the kitchen and dining room

I've been using it for 4 months and it's scrap. It will temporarily stop cooling and let everything warm up and then cool down again. I hope you noticed, otherwise you're not getting any wiser. 12v did it, then everyone went out together. I decided to try 110v and in the meantime contact the seller for warranty. 110V does the same thing intermittently so it's definitely a fridge that's cooling, not just 12V. The seller/manufacturer is out of warranty so just a waste of money.

Amazing performance

I really wanted this refrigerator to work in my application. I built a Dodge Caravan last winter and built a kitchenette behind the tailgate. We have created a space suitable for the smad block with adequate ventilation. The first unit never cooled properly at 12 volts but the service from Smad was great. I ordered a second one and used the box to return DOA. Refund for the extra block was very quick. The second cools well at both 110 and 12 volts, but when deeply charged, it drains the battery
