Review on 🌬️ Smad Absorption Mini Fridge 12V 110V Compact Refrigerator with Lock Reversible Door, Silent Operation, 1.0 cu.ft by Jacob Leon

I really wanted this refrigerator to work in my application. I built a Dodge Caravan last winter and built a kitchenette behind the tailgate. We have created a space suitable for the smad block with adequate ventilation. The first unit never cooled properly at 12 volts but the service from Smad was great. I ordered a second one and used the box to return DOA. Refund for the extra block was very quick. The second cools well at both 110 and 12 volts, but when deeply charged, it drains the battery in just over 2 days, even when already connected to the network at low temperatures (I used it at 110 volts cooled, disconnected and 12 volt replaced). . I'm using a VMax 128AH battery, not a Walmart 80AH, so I'm expecting much better performance. The deep cycle automatically charges from the car battery and works fine with both batteries in the circuit, but once the van is off I run out of time. Maybe my expectations are too high for a 12 volt system, but it's hard to believe that a boater (say) would be fine with a 2 day charge. After all, this is a mature power hog.
