Bought 2 of these to hang various poles, brooms and a small ladder. We paid more because we felt they would handle larger/heavier items. Not so. The handles aren't as strong as they could be. We resorted to hanging bungee cords over what we hang on the units so items that invariably fall don't fall into our cars. They are clearly NOT heavy duty as stated in the description. Buyer Warning!

I would give 5 stars if the (fairly minimal) instructions mentioned that the small decorative screw caps should be put on the screw before installation. I had to loosen 3 out of 4 screws before I figured it out. Apart from that, it is easy to install and very durable. I wanted one with 4 screws instead of 3 as it was being installed in a standless area in the wall. The hooks are a handy feature and overall this is a very good product. Would buy again.

The racks themselves are great. They easily hold a household broom and mop. The equipment provided is as useless as a screen door on a submarine. The box said the anchors were 6mm thick, I used a 15/64 bit, inserted the anchors and they seemed fine but then immediately popped out under the weight of the rack. I had to use molybdenum screws. I love how strong and attractive they are but I am disappointed with the instructions. The instructions say to drill a 6mm hole for the wall anchors. I used a 6mm drill but the holes were too big for the anchors. When I tightened the screws, the flanges behind the drywall would not open. I installed them in my laundry room so they fit perfectly. Now I need to figure out how to patch 2 holes in the wall. I went to the hardware store and bought some wider wall anchors for the first broom holder…
