Does exactly what it's supposed to do

Moves the trunk from the center of the camera to the right. Actually not much to say. Stay in place. Keeps my mic away from me when I pick up the screen. Didn't fall down. I did a good job at Comic Con International 2019 last summer on my A6400 with the mic on for 4-5 days so I'm pretty satisfied.

Pros
  • Wide Reach
Cons
  • Zero

Perfect for Sony A6600!

Tight and perfect fit for Sony a6600. I don't think it's going anywhere. High quality adapter that matches the look of your Sony camera. There are a few small screws in the kit (not sure what they are for but probably for a different camera model). It has a cut-out for a camera strap, but not necessarily a secure fit. Okay, but move the gun mic.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No

Great if you're a vlogger

I'm a vlogger and my mic has always gotten in the way of my screen. I've used something in the past that attaches to the 1/4" thread on the bottom of my a6400, but it was too bulky and I hated carrying it around. After that, my camera remains portable and I can attach my video. Micro with ease even attached to one of the strap mounts for extra stability

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

That's exactly what you need Sony a6400

That's what you need Sony a6400This is the perfect accessory for your Sony a6400. It's small, light, easy to put on and take off, and inexpensive. Sony should team up with Small Rig and create a joint version that will be included in the camera. As you can see in the photo, it perfectly balances the hot shoe. The only thing to keep in mind is that when used, your hot shoe will become a cold shoe. So if you need hot shoe functionality, you need to remove the offset.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

It would be nice if the hot shoe had a front

I don't know what to call it but on the camera hot shoe you push the mic/light/whatever forward man can tilt the camera forward to prevent it from falling out, and tighten it with one hand and hold the camera with the other. On the cold shoe you can mount the mount for travel in the front OR in the back. This makes it a bit difficult to install things when they are big and uncomfortable. If you tilt the camera forward, even the smallest part of what's inside the shoe will fall out (often…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best

Nearly perfect! Best in Accessories

UPDATE: What I feared was about to happen. I lost my adapter. I rarely lose things and I'm not a disorganized person. But even I had a nagging feeling that this was going to happen and I tried my best to avoid it. But the screw that comes with the kit doesn't really hold the part in place and it must have come loose somewhere and I didn't notice. I'll probably buy a replacement, but I'll definitely have to find a better way to protect it if I do. (rating downgraded from 4 to 3 stars)…

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings, everything is fine
