【Anti-twist】 The cage secures to the bottom of camera and features a m2.5 threads as a second lock point on the right side to prevent the camera from twisting. 【Multiple Threaded Holes】The cage features multiple 1/4”-20, 3/8”-16 and arri-standard locating holes for accessory attachment, which allows you to mount accessories such as Cold Shoe 2260, Top Handle 1984 and Monitor Mount 2294. 【Built-in Cold Shoe and NATO Rail】 It integrates with a cold shoe for microphone and a NATO rail on the left for Nato Handle 2187 and Magic Arm 2116. 【Easy to Install】 The bottom of the cage provides 3/8”-16 and 1/4”-20 threads for tripod plates and a built-in flat screw driver for quick installation. Works great with S1

I bought this as a base cage for a larger setup and it works great. I was able to add a few additional mods, a Panasonic XLR adapter, a wireless transceiver and more. I also bought a pen that works great with this cage. I highly recommend it!

Nice cage but doesn't fit S1H

I like SmallRig rigs and this one is well made. If you try to install a Panasonic S1H in it, you will be disappointed. That does not fit. Part of the artificial pentaprism chamber sticks out or rises too far and hits the top rail before the chamber is fully deployed. I am sure that at some point they will make a model for a specific camera.

Honestly. Really useful kit

I'm a professional with 25 years of experience and let's be honest the main reason people buy a camera cage is the ability to bolt a bunch of peripherals onto it to impress a client. This Smallrig camera cage is a functional piece of kit that stays on the camera when it is out of the customer's line of sight. For photo and photo

I like it so far. I also have a pen so I can take pictures of figure skating. I have this to protect my camera when filming ice skating with a fish eye. I don't think I'll ever be happy with the camera's level of protection, but it's probably better than the ez pen or anything else from opteka. It is very light and with the exception of the lens/barrel, keeps the camera secure during most everyday movements. It's not that uncomfortable to hold compared to the camera body.
