When I took it out of the box, it wouldn't even turn on since the battery was dead. I knew I had to charge the device before using it because I had read the instructions. Those. That's the standard; someone opens a present, hits a button, and then the screen stays black. There's nothing there now. Really, that's a brilliant advertising campaign.
