Smart Ink 932XL 933XL 932 Review

Branded ink cartridges look like branded $, useless. Buy them now. Cheap, easy to use, you might get a warning that it's not HP or another brand of your printer. Just ignore them. It's like Apple warning that the forks aren't made by them. You can get them for about 1/6 the price or less and although they don't last as long as the branded ones and I don't know yet as I only installed them a few weeks ago so even cheaper. Even cheaper than refilling cartridges at Costco, that's saying something.

When I saw the price for replacing 4 HP cartridges I almost threw my printer in the trash but decided to give it a try. I was a bit nervous that my printer wouldn't allow them, but all it did was display a message saying it knew these were third-party cartridges. IT KNEW. I have ordered these cartridges several times over the past few years. The value is great; You save a lot of money by NOT buying HP cartridges. But any money you save will most likely be offset (that may be a bit of an exaggeration) by the fact that you ALWAYS clean the printhead that uses ink and paper by printing test pages. I was very wary of buying anything other than HP products. I have had my printer for almost 2 years. I kept it clean and always used HP cartridges. The black ink just doesn't work. I got bold letters. How REALLY smeared. Only color cartridges work immediately after long attempts. I cleaned the printheads, leveled the printer and did everything they suggested 10 times. HP 6700 Premium Printer. DESTROYED. I can't get it to print anything other than smeared and blurry letters.
