Upgraded SmartBidet Remote Control Replacement for the SB-1000 Bidet Electronic Toilet Seat Review

Excellent, worked great once batteries were installed as advertised. If I could get new bidets for $150.00 Costco right now, I would buy them as gifts for the whole family!

Works very well. It was only with this replacement that I realized that the remote control that came with the bidet was faulty the whole time. I should probably get a replacement. :)

Although listed as a replacement for the 1000 model, you can use this remote control with the ISB-200 model. It worked the same way with my ISB-200. The only difference is that the 'Behind Him' button has been renamed to 'Turbo' on this remote.

This remote was $5 cheaper than the replacement AMDM IntelliSeat remote. Based on other reviews I was confident it would work and it did. Hopefully it will last at least as long as the original remote that was over 6 years old.

Quick and easy/painless rotation when changing. So far, so good. FYI, before discarding your old remote, carefully remove the front sticker (Remove SLOWLY) and clean all connections with alcohol. Allow to dry and reattach the sticker and insert NEW batteries. This fixed 95% of my old remote issues.

I thought the original remote was dead so I ordered a new one. It worked well. I used to throw away the old remote just in case to put in new batteries. This also worked. Now I have two working remotes. The lesson learned was to check the batteries before assuming the remote was faulty. In my case, when I replaced the batteries in the original remote, one of the 'new' ones turned out to be defective.

I bought this as a replacement because the original remote control that came with the Smart Bide had malfunctioned and stopped working. The new remote only lasted 2 months. Has worked great so far. Pressing certain keys only toggles power saving mode on and off. Can't get anything else to work. Every second button only flashes the LEDs on the remote control.
