Provides a great help in product activation!

I used this sensor to build a standalone system. The LiDAR arrived quickly and the seller helped me with any issues I had using it on different systems.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Extremely accurate best in security and surveillance

Used for a distance meter with an Arduino Nano. It is extremely accurate, reading just over 39 feet. Unlike an ultrasonic distance sensor, it measures the maximum distance when out of range. The only downside is that it's difficult to read in a very dusty environment. Also when used at a great distance from the Arduino (30-40 feet) it doesn't read, so I had to design the sensor next to the Arduino and power the LCD myself. Finding the code took a while.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Watch the wiring in motion detectors

Revain Photo by TF Luna Wiring connected to laptop USB port is wrong! Pins from left to right (1-6) seen from lens side: +5V, RXD/SDA, TXD/SCL, GND, CFG, MUX cable before blind plugging. Documents and a decent test app showing real time lag graphs are available here on benewake (choose download docs link): http://en.benewake.com/product/detail/5e1c1fd04d839408076b6255.html Looks like a reliable device. I tried serial output in a GUI app and the output is responsive and stable. I have yet to…
