later The driver's side snaps into place, although they're all so tight I don't think any of them can slip. You can see that the 2nd row has the smallest gap right on the driver's side, but that's right after installation and I expect it to lay flat after warming up. 5 stars for landing. In case you notice, I don't have a second row console. You can get full gear coverage between the 2nd row if you buy this kit and a Husky 3rd row.

Very pleased with the purchase of these MaxLiner Smartliner mats. They were shipped quickly and free of charge and arrived two days after I ordered them. The 2nd row mats were of course folded for transport, so I left them on the warm floor for a couple of hours. It worked because they fit just as well as the two front ones. Bought with our new Explorer. We've never had this type of floor mat before and wanted to see an improvement over the standard all-purpose rubber mats you buy at Walmart. We couldn't be happier with that. The material differs slightly from their main competitors. These seem a bit tougher. I don't think any material is necessarily better. At first I didn't think all the mats would come in one box as the front and back packaging dimensions were a bit small - but it all came with it. Installing the mats was an easy task (literally from scratch as all you have to do is push straight down to snap them into place). The rear seat floor covering fits surprisingly well over the entire rear floor. All mats look like they were installed at the factory. The material is durable and beautifully finished.
