This thing had a hard time punching through the drywall! Yes, drywall between two thick sheets of paper was a problem. There will be no dents on the bolts. Hanging a bike and an extra set of wheels is completely useless to me. Return to home storage to find a hook that works.

That's great. They are strong enough to be used horizontally and support professional trimmers. The thread end is well finished with no defects such as exposure or tangled threads. The plastic coating is smooth to the touch with no burrs or sharp protrusions. The plastic cover does not rotate and does not slip off the hook. I will buy more.

Steel looks like hot dip galvanized. The steel itself has a matte plastic finish that covers all of the steel except for the threads. I wanted all steel to be coated to prevent scratches etc so this fits the bill. Inserting a hook into a 2x6 bar required a pilot hole since the wood was dry and hard, which was to be expected. In short, the hood works as it should.

I bought these because the pair I originally bought (TEKTON Heavy Duty) was out of stock. They seemed similar and had solid reviews, but unfortunately they were smaller/thinner and significantly less durable. As I screwed them in, the rubber coating began to wrinkle. I think they will be fine for holding something light, but I'm worried about larger and heavier items. In general a bit disappointed.

These bike hooks are good. This is the cheapest way to hang bikes from walls and ceilings. I found the hooks to be too short if you want to hang the bikes on the ceiling support rods (pitched garage roof). I had to use three 2x3 pieces of wood to use the hooks on the top frame of the bike behind the handlebars and seat. Some people like to hang their bike by the rims. I do not recommend this.

I'm so glad I ordered these hooks before buying bike racks for my garage! They are very durable and very easy and simple to install! Use an existing hole or drill a small hole and simply push and twist until tight and stable! super easy! I hung 4 bikes that saved so much space in my garage! I could use the other 5 hooks for various garden tools! I am so happy with this purchase! They arrived on time and I will definitely recommend and buy them again in the future!

You get what you pay for. There was 20 pounds of weight on that hook. It was screwed into a wooden post and this light weight cut off the threaded part immediately. Items look good but installation was a pain. The threads do not extend to the top of the screw, so insertion without a properly pre-drilled hole is very difficult. I found 7/32 bit works best. 1/4 inch was too big and 3/16 was too small. Also, when screwing the hooks in, the rubber around the end of the hook broke, so you have to be very careful when inserting it.
