This is much better than the small track that comes with most barn door hardware. Smooth operation of a large heavy barn door!

It's nice that they advertise that their product won't damage the floor because the bottom of the screw isn't long enough To scratch the issue is that my bolt was too short so when I put it in the wheel the bottom didn't stick out enough to fit a nut to secure it to the base. Hardware store and got a longer screw but because the screw is thinner than they use the wheel wobbles a bit when the door opens but at least it works.

Very well made product. I would suggest two upgrades and that would be 5 stars. The product is durable and looks beautiful. You'll notice in the picture that it's slightly off the ground. Below is a nut, thanks to which it lifts off the ground. If a countersunk screw were used on the bottom, it would go flat. The way it is set up poses a potential hazard if someone cuts their toe or foot barefoot. I ended up sinking the tiled floor, which isn't that easy. The second issue is how to screw it…

Overall, this floor guide is solid and worth the money. It's smaller than others, which is nice, especially when placed in the hallway. The downside to this particular guide is that when you tighten the screw to get the desired wheel position, it stops turning because it's too tight. Other rails have nuts on either side of the bracket so you can tighten the bolt and still let the wheel spin. I ended up spending 2 hours at a few different hardware stores and a few extra bucks to buy a new bolt…
