Based on my observations, this wiring and connecting solution has incredibly streamlined my automation processes. With its industrial and scientific compatibility, it provides unbeatable efficiency for my electrical operations. Its connectivity capabilities have transformed my workflow, with a versatile range of devices that are easily synced and controlled in a single network. The only con I have experienced is its complex installation process. However, with a little patience and guidanceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Efficient and compatible with a wide range of devices.
Cons
  • Requires additional setup and configuration to fully utilize its capabilities.

Extremely effective coverage, responsive, consistent

I had to take a Smarthub with my new Samsung and thought what the heck and tried it out. I've tried many other smart devices, so the concept of a hub made sense to me: don't use slow/bugly Wi-Fi and create a Samsung-owned intranet without Bluetooth. I've never been so happy. Some commercial smart lightbulbs cost $50 and use a lot of standby power. it makes no sense. They cost $10 at the time of writing and work fantastic. Pros - NOTE: I'm using Ethernet as a hub since Wi-Fi sucks. The qualityโ€ฆ

Pros
  • No Dimmer Required: There is no need to install a dimmer as SmartThings bulbs allow you to instantly dim and dim the light to your liking
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works perfectly. at Outlets & Accessories

I have SmartThings and Hue. Hue came first, then I added SmartThings later when I realized it was more expensive. The SmartThings bulb is cheaper, which is great. It only comes in one package, which is disappointing. It would be great to have 4 packs at a discount or even just for convenience. The lamp pairing is awesome. You screw a lightbulb into Hue and use the app to look for it. That's fine, but with SmartThings you screw it in and scan the barcode with the app. This is great when addingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Save time and money: switch the light on/off or dim it directly from your smartphone or tablet; Requires SmartThings Hub, SmartThings Wifi, or a compatible device
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
