Excellent cycling socks among sports socks

Bought 3 pairs, two as spares. The primary has survived several dozen hand washes, still holds its shape (no shrinkage), no fluffy balls, no odor. Breathable and absorbs moisture well after 3-4 hours in the saddle.

Pros
  • Indestructwoll technology for increased wear resistance
Cons
  • Negative impression

Not enough for men

Ordered size XL (men's size 12.5-14) for my husband who wears a size 13. He couldn't even get over his toes. Toes are tiny. I tried them on and they were snug and I'm a women's size 7. The socks are good but they don't fit!

Pros
  • And for me.
Cons
  • New Competitors

Excellent socks; XL too small

Once again when I buy XL socks I find that they are XL in length but not in girth. I wear size 13 shoes and they are about four to five inches above my ankle. At this point my foot is 11 inches around. These are too tight. I can wear them, but they make an instant impression. My search continues.

Pros
  • Merino Wool
Cons
  • No

Wool is the best! for men

These socks have a great fit, are more contoured and have a more anatomically ergonomic look than the Pearl Izumi socks I've worn in have worn in the past. some years. although they are good too. Thin dense wool fabric looks durable enough and suitable for dinner, it doesn't sting at all. Wool perfectly absorbs sweat and never smells. These are my new favorite cycling socks!

Pros
  • If you prefer crew-level cycling socks, we recommend PhD Cycle Ultra Light Pattern Crew Socks
Cons
  • Functionality

GREAT socks! in clothing

I didn't spend $20 on bike socks, but I have Smartwool hiking and running socks that wear well. These cycling socks have the perfect height - a new, longer calf height. They are amazingly comfortable and almost feel like you are not wearing them. They absorb moisture well, dry quickly and fit perfectly. I usually wear size 11.5-12 shoes so I resized the socks to size XL and they fit almost perfectly. Only problem is I wish they came in more colors but I ordered a few more!

Pros
  • Made in the USA or imported
Cons
  • Minor issues
