Difficult conditions! for cutting tools

Very heavy. Cuts through things like butter. Good price but if buying for someone with arthritis they might be too heavy.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Doubtful acquisition for the elderly

So far so good: craft supplies

Bought these to replace a pair I got from my design school. I tried sharpening my other pair and when they didn't work I bought these. They are easy to use and come with a sharp-edged plastic pad. Most importantly, it works like a left-handed cutter for me.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Awkward

Love my new quality scissors

I have many different scissors but this is the best. The scissors are heavy enough for professional sewing. What I like best is the sharpness of the blades. When cutting material with scissors, be careful that the seal separating the handle does not pinch the palm.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubt

Excellent value for money, very sharp

I am very pleased with the design and performance of these scissors. The reviews said the 12 inch screen was too big for full use so I bought the 11 inch screen and it's about as big as I can handle. My glove size is just under large so I'd say these are pretty average hands for a man. The tips match very well and could probably be used for gnawing 1000D Cordura which I often cut. I look forward to using them often.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • A few small things

very impressive good for art supplies

They are a little heavier than I expected but excellent. I don't use them for normal things, but in the garden. I was fed up with gardening tools that couldn't handle things like thrift and sticks. I ended up using house scissors but it was slow and timely. Tried them out in minutes last night and did a great job. I love her! I know they're not meant for gardening, but they're long and so sharp it's now easy to trim the lighter, stiffer ones.

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • no instructions
