Great product, best fasteners

I'm a fan of Kreg products and their screws have never let me down. I've reused some of them many times and have one twice out of 500 bolts that I took off due to over tightening. That's the quality in my book! Needless to say, I will use the Kreg screw whenever possible.

Pros
  • Case hardened steel won't bend, crack or snap
Cons
  • Fits

Unfortunately miscalculated!

The screws are ok and serve their purpose, I give this one star because I feel cheated, the number of screws should be 100 but there are only 69 in the box, I never count them Screws but as I used them to attach them to the countertop and reached for the box to get more I noticed the bill quickly went down so I counted what I was using and it turned out that my suspicion was correct. It's a shame nobody will count the screws and Kreg will get away with it; promising us 100%, charging us 100%…

Pros
  • Coarse twine for softwoods such as pine; and for plywood, MDF, chipboard
Cons

Good product for fasteners

Kreg SML-C150-100 1 1/2" pocket screws quickly install in plywood and chipboard; although these are not pocket screws. Lead screws work well in these materials and not so well in very fine material. If the wrong material is used, they can split the wood. I use them for mooring jigs and rough outdoor projects. The wide head holds very well in fences and other crafts. I rarely use them for pocket holes due to the length. They will fit most projects unless they are made from a very wide material…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something different

I never thought I would worry about a screw

I'm replacing the windows in my house and the new ones require twice as many screws so I have these Bought . I wanted a square drive as Flat and Philip both suck. Not sure if it's a square washer or self-tapping screws, but these things went in like a dream. Nothing has ever gone wrong. Each drove right in with the wash head nice and flush. The square shank holds the bit much better than the Phillips head and never breaks. I just bought a 1200 box as I used half of a 100 box on only 2 windows…

Pros
  • good thing

Consistent quality product at a good price

Nothing new to say about these screws. I think people will want to know about the quality of this particular brand of screws. I used to buy cheaper props from Revain which unfortunately turned out to be poor quality props. With crooked tips, and the threads didn't even protrude far enough from the shank of the screw to bite anything. Thing is, that's how I feel. You are lucky to get quality when you pay for it. So what are the odds that you're getting quality if you're not actually paying for…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
