The end of my drill broke off

When I tried to drill through a brick with a construction drill, the end of the drill just broke off! I've never seen this before, but I think this exercise has some flaws.

I do not recommend masonry. Great wood version

wood definitely recommend. But I do not recommend masonry. Too bad the spiral didn't work anymore. It is sometimes difficult to pierce an exterior brick wall. I would recommend a down twist drill and then use the Thread It tool sold at the tech tool store.

REAL INSTALLATION DRILLS!

This company makes bits that are long enough to get the job done and perfect for quick line laying. walls and floors. These are the only drill bits I use when installing. I carry all sizes of general purpose and masonry drill bits that I use on the job. To be honest, if your setup bits don't look like it, then they just aren't real setup bits.
