Efficient and Accurate Cutters

When I tried this hole saw accessory, I was amazed by the efficiency and accuracy of the cutters. The plug cutter was easy to use, and it produced clean and precise holes. It is an excellent tool for woodworking and other DIY projects. The only downside I observed was that it requires a bit of practice to master, but once you get the hang of it, it's a game-changer. Overall, I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for efficient and accurate cutters.

Pros
  • Efficiently cuts wooden plugs with precision
Cons
  • May require some practice to master usage technique

Exactly what I needed.

When remodeling our deck I had to plug some of the 3/4 inch holes left by the last railing. Used the same material as the soundboard and this cutter cut the EXACT size I needed. The taper allows the dowel to slide easily into the hole and then fit snugly for a perfect fit.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Expensive

Forms a slightly tapered end cap - see details and pictures

I cut 10 end caps in 3/4" solid red oak planks to plug some 3/4" holes in my floor. Maximum insertion depth is approximately 0.50" when the cutter is fully down. On the photos you can see a roasting of the oak, which I could not avoid at any cutting speed or pressure. Best performance was at 450 rpm and light feed pressure. The plugs were cut with a table saw 0.47 inch long. The instrument creates a conical plug with a small radius on the narrow end to ease insertion. Small diameter 0.742 inch,
