This is a fantastic container and a great replacement for the gallon ziplock bag I used to store cheese. Frees up fridge door drawers, frees up space for cheese, looks a lot more organized and works great. I wrap each hard or medium-hard cheese in wax paper and place it in this container; Soft cheese stays in the foil or in the plastic, everything stays in place and I love that the cheese is now displayed as prominently in the fridge as it deserves.

I seem to have always had a lot of cheese and never liked cheese bags. This container is great for keeping cheese fresh. I also think it's roomy, but that depends on what "roomy" means to others. If you have pounds and pounds of cheese, one of these containers won't do. But for me it's the perfect size. Yes, you can't cut cheese on a stand-----this is not a cheese cutting board. I wanted to return it because it was way bigger than I expected. For some reason I imagined them to be the size of a European-style butter dish. Spoilers, it isn't.
