Perfect for RV cord

Good for replacing RV plug. Not sure how long it will withstand the elements as the plastic seems thinner and cheaper than expected.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Communication with seller

This is the 50Amp you need

This 50A plug has an interior space to connect the 6 gauge wire used for the 50A wire with my Duramax 10000- Alternator 50A plug is required. Supplied with generator was designed for 12 gauge wire max. The device is very well made and the price is right!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

poor design, cheaply made, lots of trouble

not enough room for thick wire - cheap flimsy plastic - I used normal pressure to tighten the screws holding the cable clip and the screw broke the plastic and straight through. Metric measurements did not help. I worked hours on this fork. Not worth the hassle. Try to find the best product

Pros
  • great price
Cons
  • there are new competitors

Perfect 50A plug for power and electrics

This is a good quality plug. I connected it to the 6AWG-SEOO wire for the generator power cord. The plug had enough space for the connection and high-quality cable lugs. The strain relief clamp is fairly tight and the cable is secure. Connects very securely to my generator and the finger holes make it easy to take off. In general very satisfied.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other models

Very poor design of plugs, sockets and outlets

If I hadn't already thrown away the box it would have been returned. As another person said, four small screws go into the plastic so it will soon come loose. Also, it's a 50 amp plug and they have a screw in the middle that you have to insert the wire into to tighten it, making it difficult to get the #6 wire in most other plugs that use it have open and you tighten it too tight cable. The layout is tight. Poor design I wish I had bought another Miady Plug with a better design.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fits

When carefully tightening the cable clamp, the screw broke the plastic

I'm going on a trip so can't come back to buy something more permanent. I'm replacing my old fork as the strain relief isn't holding up. I thought it would be better this way, but the plastic of the strain relief cracked when tightening the screw! So no longer waterproof or weatherproof. Other than that, assembly was easy and the wiring method is better than many as you're good at biting the wire for a mechanical connection.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Damaged

A big design flaw.

The two halves of the connector are held together by three small self-tapping screws that go through one half and screw into the plastic pins of the other half. Not only do these screws hold the two halves together, but they also take all the pulling force when the connector is removed. These screws don't go very deep into the posts on the other half and break easily even if overtightened a little. Pulling these screws out allows the two halves of the connector to separate exposing the 240V…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Great fork! for RV parts and accessories

Probably the most expensive fork I've seen but I think it's worth the extra $5. For a 4 core 50A cable the outside diameter is about 2.5cm and they have a nice grommet of that size (so if for some reason you use a much smaller wire there will be gaps but that's unlikely). The connectors are very durable and easy to use. After you remove the 3 screws it even opens up if you want to thanks to the fact that you stick the UL rated sticker over the gap. Well done. In a 50A 4 wire setup, each wire is

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Almost OK
