    Fits snugly on solid wood

I use these screws to assemble items I've made out of planed oak. I drill and countersink all my holes in oak. The threads on these screws are perfect for connecting the shelf to the back panel, like I did with this dual caster bracket.

    Not very impressed

I saw the screws and thought my husband could use them as we are renovating/building a house. He's building a cabinet for our air conditioner. Immediately after he started doing this, he sent me a video (see video). About half were thrown with their heads off center, causing this wobble. None of these broke in use, but you can't move at full speed due to the wobbling. The container they came in is very nice. So they're usable, but they're not impressive.

    Excellent screw without splinter.

I know they're labeled "drywall screws" but I buy them all the time for almost everything I do around the house. They're great for hanging pictures and shelves, joining broken wood "anything" and pretty much anything that needs a screw to hold it together, hanging or actually hanging drywall. The screws I usually get come in a box and when I use them I always get little bits of metal in my fingers when I use them with a drill press. If you've had them, you know that they can hurt if they hit…
