Indispensable! suitable for scratching posts

This is our second scratching post like this and we can't do without it! Whatever deterrent we put in the corner of the sofa, little cat claws love to scratch it, so we decided to hug them instead. My cats use this thing *aggressively*! If I had to give advice, the first and foremost would be to find a way to reinforce or provide more attachment points between the base and the scratching post. Our first failed (after a *YEAR* of abuse!) and detached from the base. There was still a lot of life…

They are expensive and my 2 cats preferred the cheap (labeled) tapered cord wraps I got from Target years ago BUT they look much cleaner, stronger and after a few months out , cats start using them so i transfer the torn cones to the basement. So far the material is holding up REALLY well to their bullying. Обратите внимание, что у поставщика есть как изогнутые, так и прямые прямоугольные модели в зависимости от дизайна вашего дивана (мне, как ни странно, пришлось искать другую отдельно…

Works on our couch with our cats!

Ordered a scratching post for the shabbiest corner of the sofa. We didn't use catnip on the scratching post because the cats (all males) got used to the scratching post straight away. They are active and vary in size, weight (3-20 pounds), and age (from 3 months to several years). Now they leave all other corners of the sofa alone and prefer the scratching post. If we had known this product existed when we bought the sofa, we would have happily paid $50. I may buy another one to make the sofa…

Where has it been all my life?!?!

UPDATE 07/25/2020: We now have four of these sofa scratching posts. (I have four couches and too many cats). I haven't had any functional problems. My sofa has never felt uneven due to the acrylic base. None of the acrylic feet have ever broken when I've placed my furniture on them and then sat on them - all the feet have remained intact. I really had to buy a piece of scratch resistant plexiglass for the sofa that I got for my recliner part because the part's "leg" is further back than a…
