No waves needed! Just a body of water and a sandy beach are all you need to start skimming. SIZING: Comes in 2 sizes for both youth and adults. 45" for lighter people, 48" for the bigger adult. FEATURES: HDPE Slick bottom for gliding in the shallows, soft high-pressure construction for learning to skim. MATERIALS: 4 Marine Ply Stringers for durability. HDPE rigid slick bottom for speed. Foam deck for cushioning. DESIGN: The flat bottom with a slight nose rocker will help you maneuver and turn without digging into the sand.

Fell apart after 5 sessions

Updated review: the board fell apart in 5 session. Stay away.Original review: Pretty decent quality for the price. Very lightweight and floats well. So far enjoying it. Probably won’t last more than a year though given the build quality - I can see that edges will peel off after about a year.
