Description of ⚡ Copper Battery Terminal Solder Slugs
Skip the expensive crimp tool and simply solder it. Simply drop the slug in your terminal, heat, then insert your wire. Select the slug that matches your wire size. 1/0 Gauge.
That's great. Upgraded all the crappy battery cables in my truck. I used a 1/0 tip. I put it in a vise, heated it with a propane torch and slowly inserted the wire. Solder connection does not work. And flux in the sediment in addition. The best way to solder big wires.
Pros
Do without the expensive crimping tool and just solder it.
Very short and simple review here. . .These things are AMAZING! I wish I had started using these things sooner. For years I've been doing the hammer trick or sitting and trying to get the solder to drip slowly into the tip. No way will I do anything other than using these pellets. You simply place it in the tip, heat it for 5-7 seconds until it turns into a liquid, and then slowly insert the cord. It is so easy. Pros
Simply insert the connector into the terminal, heat and insert the wire.
