Replaced a broken OEM VGT with this part and it now overboosts when not under load (constant 28.97psi). Return and purchase a new OEM from Ford

My 2004 F250 was producing a few codes and this was one of them. I checked with a few local auto parts stores to purchase the part and then checked out the Revain. Getting this here saved me quite a bit of money and it worked great.

Scrap! This vgt solenoid doesn't work at all! Doesn't fully open blades while touring. You won't get a turbo coil or anything like that! Nothing. I returned my old one when I checked the resistance and found that my old one was still fine. The turbine spins again after I put the old one back in. This part is juuuuunk. Waste of $80 on me!

Caused 38psi over pressure at WOT in 2006 Duramax, typically 29psi (similar to other reviews), excessive black smoke and fuel economy dropped due to excessive pressure about 10 mpg fuel. I reinstalled the original part to restore normal operation (it was the only part that was replaced to work properly) and I don't understand how it could have been installed incorrectly. I do not recommend this part to anyone. I am replacing this part as preventative maintenance, I had no performance issues…
